For nine years, the best in racing have used Mark One Composites for energy absorbing custom seat fittings.
Since our inception, we have had an ongoing research and development program with the Indy Racing League to further develop cockpit safety. We have fit over a dozen crash test dummies that have gone through nearly a hundred hydraulic sled tests at Delphi Automotive Systems as well as actual simulated accidents at the university of Nebraska.
Results have consistently shown that with a seat that is custom fit to you and your chassis or existing seat, the displacement of energy in an accident is properly distributed over the driver's body.
Now
you can use the same materials and technology we use to fit the likes of
Montoya, Castroneves, Luyendyk, Stewart, Andretti, Capps, de Ferran,
Labonte, Herta, Dixon, Wheldon and dozens more. You will feel the same
as every driver we fit when you experience this technology.
Your custom fit seat will be like a helmet for your body. The seat can be custom made by Mark One where you will be working hand in hand with one of our senior technicians. This can be done either at Mark One or at your workshop.
We do offer seat kits, with easy to follow instructions, to make your
own seat in house. Our specialized epoxy resin system allows substantial
working time to give the driver a seat that fits perfectly.
Seat kits are available in three sizes and we offer several accessories so you can create a safe driving environment with maximum performance and less driver fatigue.
